Target Audience:
The BCGP Boot Camp is for pharmacists preparing to take the BCGP
certification exam and for BCGPs who wish to receive recertification credits.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this application-based activity, participants should be
able to:
- Determine therapeutic options for urinary tract infections, Clostridium difficile, immunizations and pneumonia in the older adult.
- Interpret infectious clinical findings and incorporate functional status into therapeutic decision-making.
- Resolve and/or prevent infectious disease medication-related problems.
- Apply infectious disease therapy recommendations and person-specific goals to senior patient cases.

How to Earn Credit:
BCGP Credit: Per the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), all
pharmacists seeking BCGP Recertification have ONE attempt to achieve a 70% or
higher on the 10-question post-test.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation by October 18, 2018 at 11:59 pm ET to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website.
