Joy Plein Memorial Lecture: Reducing Medication Burden at the End of Life
The benefits of medication use in older adults with multimorbidity and particularly those and end of life are uncertain, whereas the burdens may be substantial. While deprescribing can reduce medication overload, the unique challenges in deprescribing at end of life require a paradigm shift in optimizing medication. Tools and practical strategies can help to improve medication use in adults with multimorbidity or at end of life.
This lecture is supported by the Plein Center for Geriatric Pharmacy, Research, Education, and Outreach.
This bundle is included in the Annual Meeting On-Demand Experience Package.
