Pharmacists who provide direct patient care in a geriatric population, as well as those managing distribution and medication use in that population.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this Application-Based activity, participants should be able to:
- Analyze the statistical tests and modeling in a given clinical study.
- Evaluate the population used for analysis.
- Assess the sample size calculation.
- Interpret the statistical significance of results, including subgroup analyses.
- Assess the study design and biostatistics for methodological limitations specific to research in gerontology.

How to Earn Credit:
BCGP Credit: Per the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), all pharmacists seeking BCGP Recertification have ONE attempt to achieve a 70% or higher on the 10-question post-test.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation by September 1st, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website.
