Target Audience:
For pharmacists who are board certified in order to expand knowledge through clinical cases on hyper- and hypothyroidism.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this application-based activity, participants should be able to:
- List common causes of hypo- and hyperthyroidism.
- Classify a patient as being hypo- or hyperthyroid based on provided signs, symptoms and laboratory information.
- Identify preferred management strategies for thyroid disorders, including pearls in older adults.
- Given patient cases, construct a therapeutic regimen to initiate, including monitoring parameters.

How to Earn Credit:
Post-Test: You will have unlimited attempts to achieve a 70% or higher on the post-test assessment.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation within 365 days post purchase or by its expiration date July 1st, 2023 at 11:59pm ET, whichever occurs first to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website.
