Target Audience:
This webinar will provide education to consultant pharmacists surrounding deprescribing common agents used to treat anemia, diabetes and hyperlipidemia in the senior patient. This webinar targets new, as well as, seasoned consultant pharmacists looking to improve the quality of life for their senior patients.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this Application-Based activity, participants should be able to:
- Apply current guidelines to describe possible deprescribing interventions for an anemic senior patient.
- Apply current guidelines to describe possible deprescribing interventions for a diabetic senior patient.
- Apply current guidelines to describe possible deprescribing interventions for a senior patient with hyperlipidemia.

How to Earn Credit:
BCGP Credit: Per the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), all pharmacists seeking BCGP Recertification have ONE attempt to achieve a 70% or higher on the 10-question post-test.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation by April 1, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website.
