Target Audience:
This
webinar is aimed at pharmacists who are looking to learn more about digital
health tools currently on the market and what it means for healthcare.
Attendees will learn about current literature and clinical evidence for use of
digital tools for geriatric patients to utilize in their care, such as disease
management and medication adherence. Lastly, this knowledge will be used for
future learning as further technology progression occurs.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this application-based activity, participants should
be able to:
- Explain how digital health impacts patient care and its role in the healthcare environment.
- Identify changing technologies that patients have available to them for self-management and how pharmacists can leverage such tools for therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluate the current literature for case examples of therapeutic areas that digital health can play a role in geriatric care.
- Apply the use of digital tools for patient care from a pharmacy perspective.

How to
Earn Credit:
Post-Test: You will have unlimited attempts to achieve a 70% or higher
on the post-test assessment.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation within 365 days post purchase or by the expiration date, whichever occurs first to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website.
