Target Audience:
These educational activities are designed for pharmacists
who are interested in preparing to take the Board-Certified Geriatric
Pharmacist (BCGP) examination.
Learning Objectives:
- Evaluate clinical trial and practice guideline information to senior care.
- Define therapeutic goals incorporating principles specific to the senior patient.
- Interpret clinical findings and incorporate functional status into therapeutic decision-making.
- Determine therapeutic options and prevent potential medication-related problems in the senior patient.
- Apply recommendations and goals to create safe and effective patient-specific plans.
- Communicate medication information to older patients, their caregivers, and the interprofessional team.
The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

How to Earn Credit:
Post-Test:You will have unlimited attempt to
receive a 70% or higher on the post-test assessment. You will not receive
answer feedback until you obtain a passing score.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation by May 15, 2020 at 11:59pm ET to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website

been approved for only 15.5 FL consultant certification credits.
You must complete a minimum of 3 hours to qualify for FL CE. ASCP submits CE
hours (approved courses only) to CE Broker. Please email your FL license # after completion
