- Describe the process of “deprescribing” and the rationale for implementing this systematic process.
- Describe three tools used to systematically evaluate the benefit and burden of drug therapy in patients with a serious illness.
- Given a simulated case of a patient with a serious illness, illustrate the process of considering the benefits and burdens of continuing the medications.
