Target Audience: As the population ages, ophthalmic conditions and vision changes are increasing, more patients have comorbid ocular conditions requiring daily medications to maintain visual quality. The aims of this webinar will be to educate attendees on common ophthalmologic conditions, the pharmacokinetics of ocular medications and the use and side effect profile of common medications.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this application-based

- Discuss pharmacokinetics as it relates to ophthalmologic medications
- Recognize the most common ophthalmologic conditions in older adults
- Review common ophthalmic medications used in the geriatric population and their side effects

How to Earn Credit:
BCGP Credit: Per the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), all
pharmacists seeking BCGP Recertification have ONE attempt to achieve a 70% or
higher on the 10-question post-test.
CPE Credit: You must complete the post-test and evaluation by January 1, 2019 at 11:59 pm ET to receive credit. ASCP reports CPE attainment to ACPE and NABP via the CPE Monitor system. The course should be posted within 24-48 hours of evaluation completion. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct date of birth (MMDD format) and NABP e-Profile ID on their member or guest profile on the ASCP Website.
